Initial Storyboard!
Welcome back! Today I will be presenting you with the storyboard for The Art of Smiling. My team and I have put in effort for our storyboard that way on the day of filming we will have a much more structured plan and even during editing. The storyboard was done over two days. Let me explain how the workload was split; Desiree drew the pictures, Alexa was taking notes of everything we wanted to include and important details, I was trying to go through the main ideas I had for the film and how to go through with it, and Kimora was giving us feedback and other ways to do things. When writing the description and all the details on the back of each shot, we split the load. We wrote things like description of the shot, sound, cut, type of camera shot/angle, etc. and we highlighted each type of category that way we know where to look at. Going through the storyboard was helpful because we realized so many details we are going to need and are still discovering some more things we want to add or take off. This truly helped us visualize how our film is going to look. Some features that are in the editing process we have the main ideas however, those things might change due to our capability of editing or even the programs we have available. Without Further ado I present to you our storyboard. (Sorry if it's blurry!)
We are very excited to see how our film comes out and can't wait to start filming. We have decided our first two and a possible third filming date. We will be filming on Friday, February 11th, and Sunday, February 13th. We may film on Monday but we will see. I can't wait to see this idea become reality. See you until next time!
