Filming Continued :)

 

Welcome back to the second day of filming! We filmed this on February 18tth at my house. Everyone came over. Initially Alexa came over and we started to discuss how and where we were going to set up the cameras while waiting for the others. Evidently Desiree and Kimora came, but I almost must give thanks to our wonderful extras who came, Natasha, Naline, Jacob and Wyra.  Once everyone started to come we started to film the beginning of the opening scene. We first started to film outside using my mom’s car in order to see Desiree arrive at the party. We filmed everything that we had to at the front of the house and then we proceeded to film in the backyard. Throughout, this Alexa would find the position or angle we wanted and Kimora and I would discuss whether it was good or if we can change it. Moreover, I brought my speaker and some props for the montage in order to film it. I used the speaker for background noise. I was pushing them for time as the sun was setting so we had to get the shots. We did that and eventually did all of the shots before the bathroom scene besides the flashbacks. Once we finished that, we did have some Pizza after all the hard work and acting. 

Afterwards, we went inside and filmed the first flashback  with Desiree, Natasha, and Jacob. It was hilarious! They all did such a good job acting and yelling at each other. And that was a wrap for all of our extras! That day we did have some challenges such as finding better angles and camera movements. Moreover, the acting was harder as it just wasn't Desiree acting. In addition, my neighbor's dog was barking so it might have been heard in our shots. However, with all those challenges, we had a good day of filming and I think our film will look great. We just need to film the second flashback and we will be completely done with filming.
