Get to know me!
Hello and welcome to Lucy's Journey in the Filming World. I'm Lucia Garcia or Lucy. :) I am a junior in Everglades Highschool. I am from Florida and I come from Cuban descent. I love to take adventures in cities such as New York, Washington D.C and my favorite one of all is Miami. My hobbies consist of baking, scrapbooking (I know I'm an old lady), penny boarding, dancing, and watching movies/shows. I also like to play video games such as The Sims 4, The Last of Us, The Ghost of Tsushima, and Stardew Valley.
I love spending time with my family and friends. Although I love being social, sometimes I have another side that does not want to talk to anyone. It gets really confusing for me some times. I have two older siblings and by older I mean a lotttt older. But I love them and they take me out on great adventures and are always there for me no matter what.
I have many goals in the future. I think about the future a lot. I would love to be an entrepreneur and be my own boss. I would love to travel more frequently. Places on my Travel list are: Greece, Japan, Australia, Italy, Iceland, and Hawaii. Hopefully in the future I can add some more places to my list.
I decided to do this class because I like editing and making films that can make you truly feel an emotion. When a film can make you feel truly excited or make you feel empathy, I feel that they have succeeded. Hopefully, I will be able to learn to do this affect myself and be able to share the same type of excitement when I watch films such as The Hunger Games, Jurassic Park, The Avengers, Bad Boys, and The Last Song. These are some of my favorite movies just for the reason that I do truly feel that I am part of their world. Anyways enough about me I got to go and start coming up with ideas.
